GENIE SHIPPING DOCK

High shipping demands for Genie Lifts were met with a new structure to house the shipping office and loading dock. Industrial in both design and function, the structure is comprised of two primary elements with reversing shed roofs: the large airy loading dock and the smaller stout office space. The office space anchors down the loading dock with its use of exposed concrete structure. Its soffit is enclosed with vertical grain fir, in contrast with the loading dock where steel decking and open web trusses are exposed.

Its first day in use the company was able to exceed their prior record for shipments loaded in a single day, a point we happily celebrated with the employees.
